Meet the Team

Dr. Mazin Farah has been practicing dentistry in Dumfries and Fredericksburg area, Virginia, since 1998. He attended Baghdad University School of Dentistry in 1986, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science, and later graduated with his master’s in orthodontics in 1988. After moving to the U.S., Dr. Farah attended and graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1997. Currently, he attends yearly continuing education course for general dentistry and orthodontics to keep himself up to date on the latest in dentistry.

Dr. Farah is a member of:

• The American Dental Association®
• The Virginia Dental Association

His goal as a dentist is to create beautiful, healthy smiles using his experience in orthodontics and general dentistry.

When not at the office, Dr. Farah enjoys hiking and is an avid soccer fan.

Dr. Hayat Najafe has been practicing dentistry and serving our area for over 20 years. He received a Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated with his master’s from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Najafe actively pursues continuing education on a regular basis and attends the American Academy of Implant Dentistry annual conference regularly.

Dr. Najafe has obtained advanced training in implant dentistry throughout the years. He attended a MaxiCourse® for dental implants in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2005, and in 2007, he completed advanced training for dental implantologists in soft and hard tissue/bone grafting at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Najafe is a member of:

His goal as a dentist is to deliver the best dental care possible for each and every patient of ours by listening to them, keeping up with advances in the field of dentistry, and investing in new and improved dental technology and dental materials. Perfection is not possible, but we can strive for excellence.

Dr. Najafe and his wife have two teenage boys who tower several inches above them. When not working, he enjoys being outdoors and being surrounded by nature. He likes grilling on his outdoor wood-fired grills, loves to travel and still enjoys playing soccer. His true hobby is gardening and caring for his home orchard that, according to his boys, only feeds the critters of Fairfax County!

Rhonda has been with us since September of 2017. She is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and graduated from dental assisting school through the Navy in 1984. She enjoys seeing patients happy and appreciates the exceptional work of our doctors. She likes how we are more like family then coworkers. Rhonda helps our office in any way she can to keep the office running smoothly. She posts payments, does insurance claims, answers phones and takes care of many other tasks.

Rhonda has two adult children, a daughter and a son. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family and friends, watching the Green Bay Packers, going to the beach, boating, and just being in the sunshine.

Lori joined us in December of 2021. She has been working in customer service since she was 20 years old, either in the medical or dental field. She likes that everyone at our office works together to make sure our patients are happy with our care. Lori helps us succeed by making sure the schedule runs smoothly and staying productive by keeping our patients happy.

Lori is newly married and has three children and five grandchildren. Her hobbies include working in her yard or house, and she loves to go boating with friends and family.

Linda started working with us in 2018. She graduated from the Florida State College of Jacksonville with an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science in dental hygiene. She likes that our dentists and team are passionate when it comes to providing the best care and treatment to all our patients, and she is passionate herself about helping patients achieve optimal dental health.

Linda has two beautiful daughters and two dogs named Mimi and Asher. She loves the outdoors — beaches, lakes and springs. She is an animal lover and likes visiting zoos and aquariums. Her other hobbies include watching football and basketball, listening to all types of music, and going to concerts.

Amanda has been a part of our office since March of 2016. She graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College in in 2015. She has enjoyed building relationships with our patients throughout the years and the family-like bond we share here at the practice. She helps us succeed by providing optimum oral health care to all patients, from kids to adults.

Amanda comes from a large family that lives close by. She was born and raised in the Stafford area and has been in the community for most of her life. She has a young daughter, whom her world revolves around, and also a dog named Piper. When not working, most of her time is spent with her daughter and family, celebrating holidays, birthdays or cook-outs and creating memories. She loves spending time with family, going on trips, and spending time outdoors, including going to the beach and fishing. She also loves running her daughter to where she needs to be.

Lisa joined our office in April of 2006. She gained her dental assistant certification that same year. Lisa feels blessed to work with an awesome team and that she gets to help patients realize their dream of a beautiful smile and renewed self-confidence. It brings her great joy knowing she helps patients have a pleasant experience. They will not always remember what you say, but they will always remember the way you made them feel.

Lisa has two handsome boys, a beautiful granddaughter and a spunky dog named Prince. She enjoys remodeling, decorating and spending time with her family.

Kevin joined us in August of 2022. He took and passed the Dental Assisting National Board exam in 2009 and has more than 15 years of dental experience in all categories of dental health, from pediatric to oral surgery and everything in between. He enjoys working with our dentists and team and loves that we treat patients like people instead of numbers.

Kevin has been married for over 16 years and has a daughter, a son and one grandchild. When not working, he loves fishing, hunting, watching movies and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. A fun fact that makes Kevin laugh: People sometimes call him a “gentle giant”!
